Practice Nurse

Full time/Part time

Grovelands Medical Centre in Reading is looking for an experienced Practice Nurse to join our friendly busy team, we have full time/part-time hours available from Monday – Friday with capacity to cover some Saturday clinics.

We have a patient population of approx. 14,000 and you will be supported by GPs, paramedics, pharmacists, social prescriber, health and wellbeing coach, first contact physiotherapist and our nursing team including HCAs as well as our hard working reception/admin team.

We are an Emis Web Practice.

Ideally we would like someone with experience of:

• Chronic Disease Management, especially Diabetes
• Cervical Smear Screening
• Family Planning
• Immunisations (Routine, Childhood and Travel)
• Treatment Room duties

Salary is negotiable and dependent on experience. Morning coffee breaks to catch up with colleagues are encouraged at 11 – 11.30 each morning. Benefits include NHS Pension.
